These animals have a distinctively long life span. With proper care and feeding these creatures are able to live 35-40 years; some individuals are known to live for 50 years. Most animals of this type are grey, but there are also various shades of grey, brown, sorrel and some are even spotted. For breeding donkeys seeing the animals' photos at the breeders is not enough.
