Pics of donkeys can be obtained from any breeder, but don't trust pictures only.
They are adapted to marginal desert lands and, therefore, their food needs are much less than that of a horse. Their coat is not waterproof like horses’ that is why they must have access to shelter. These animals shouldn’t be overfed otherwise it may lead to “Laminitis.”

These animals usually live for 25 years or even more; some of them were know to life up to 40 years. They are extremely intelligent, particularly patient and persistent animals and as a result make excellent pack animals.
